I have seen posts popping up all over the place about the FAL and thought that maybe I should join in
Not thinking I had much to do, when I really started thinking on, there are a few projects sitting there waiting. Some are really really long term & I think it best not to commit those to the first quarter. However, I am comitting to finish:
Lianne's "Christmas" quilt - back is made - needs to be basted, quilted & bound |
My Sarahbobsquarepants quilt - it's a hand quilt job I am part through - a true labour of love but it will be worth it in the end! |
My new gorgeous Lotta quilt top which needs a back, baste, quilt & bind |
My first ever strip quilt - needs a back, baste, quilt & bind |
In fact, I've not made any New Years resolutions for years but this year I said to my husband that our 2012 motto is "use it up". I am such a hoarder and have so much everything - food in the freezer & cupboards, fabric in my craft room, fat on my body (!!) I am on a drive to start using it all up. We'll see how it goes!
So, as well as these finishes, I am also pledging to make more too :)

And they are gorgeous tops too. Fi
These tops are lovely! They are going to be gorgeous quilts .... get going girl!! I love half square triangle quilts and either of the top ones are next one my list after I finish up my current project.
i LOVE your lotta quilt. i love it! what pattern did you use?
They will be so lovely to finish - and definitely a good motto for 2012!
Sarah these quilts are lovely. Your lotta quilt is amazing. I need to know more about this craft business of yours. Do tell!!!
I am loving your 2012 motto: Use it up. I should adopt that one too. I LOVE your quilt tops. You are inspiring me to hand quilt this year. I have many tops that need to be finished. I am hoping the FAL will help.
I love the Use It Up motto - I have gotten really good about that in the kitchen, but it's a lot harder in the craft room. I love opening my fridge and only seeing a weeks worth of food! (just ignore the door overspilling with condiments...
I saw your Lotta quilt top the other day and loved it! So glad you left a comment so I could come check out your wonderful quilts and make the connection! Now I want to go get some of that fabric...like really bad and make a quilt out of it!!
They are all so beautiful....which do you plan on starting with for the FAL
I love the colours in your squarepants quilt, and the Lota quilt is just gorgeous! :o)
